Pink Dye Combo for Pink Day in LA?
Hey! I was wondering what the most popular/best combination for dye to make pink armor so I can help represent during the Pink Day in LA breast cancer awareness deal. I've seen a lot of "White and Red" but I've also seen a lot of "That doesn't work very well," following it.
Any ideas? |

It will of course depend on the armor, but my necro's armors are made pink using a mix of reds and purples. Could maybe try adding silvers and whites as well... Like I said, it;ll depent on the armor.

It depends on what armor it is. Certain armors dye better certain ways.
Just buy a few dyes and test it out |

Well, some of the pinks I've been seeing on TV look more raspberry (like the towels on the NFL games last weekend), so any pink would fit in.

As the others have said, all armour dyes differently, but generally play around with purple + 2 (or 3) reds, purple + brown, purple + yellow, purple + orange, purple brown red etc.
Add in a white or silver for lighter combo's (sometimes, again depends on how that armour dyes). Don't think I've ever made a pink using the red/white combo, usually always some combination of red, purple, brown/yellow/orange dyes (of course, part of that could be that I usually just can't afford to buy many white dyes ). Really comes down to just experimenting - have fun with that ps: My monk has some armour dyed red red purple, which shows as a nice rich pink, however in the HoM the Canthan (another character/prof has it) shows as a paler pink - still quite a nice shade, imo. So maybe is a place to start. Cheers. |
